Establish which drawer, and what it does
On a double these are two complete machines in one cabinet. One drawer leaking, one drawer refusing to open, or both misbehaving are three different starting points, and the answer changes what comes out first.

Watch the lid close
The mechanism is meant to drive down evenly and hold. A lid that closes and lifts, closes slowly, or stops short tells us whether we are looking at the motor, the linkage or the seal before anything is dismantled.

Read the seal rather than replace it on sight
A horizontal seal collects what falls on it. A seal that has hardened, taken a set, or is simply carrying debris are three different outcomes, and only one of them is a part.

Why a drawer is a different machine
A conventional dishwasher seals in front: a door, a gasket around it, a latch. A DishDrawer seals from above — a lid is driven down onto the top of the drawer by a lid motor and held there under pressure for the cycle. Forty of the fifty-one dishwashing machines this maker lists for the United States work that way.
What that changes

When this is the repair and when it is not
Water on the floor with a clean tub, a drawer that will not start with the panel lit, a drawer that will not release at the end of a cycle, or a lid that visibly does not sit down square: those point here. Water standing inside the tub is the drain path instead, and a drawer that cleans badly is the spray arm and the filter. Those are different pages and different figures.

The drawer will not open at the end of a cycle.
Do not force it. On these machines the lid stays down under motor pressure and releases at the end; a drawer that stays shut usually means the lid motor has not driven back up, and pulling on the front turns a mechanism repair into a front-panel repair. If the machine still has power, switching it off and on again at the wall will sometimes let the lid release. If it does not, that is the call to make.
Water is on the floor but the inside looks fine.
That is the usual shape of a lid seal on a drawer. The seal is at the top of the tub, so water that escapes it runs down the outside of the drawer and out under the front rather than pooling somewhere you can see. The other candidates are the drawer seal itself and the flexible connections behind the machine, which is why the search runs in that order rather than starting at the pump.
One drawer works perfectly and the other does not.
That is normal on a double and it is good news. Each drawer has its own lid motor, its own rotor, its own filter and its own wash controller, so a failure on one side does not touch the other — and you keep using the working drawer while a part is on order.
Is the lid motor a common part to fail?
It is one of the parts that has no equivalent in any other dishwasher, so it is the part people have not heard of when it goes. It is a mechanism that runs twice a cycle for years in a warm, wet drawer. We treat it as an assembly with the seal rather than a component on its own, because replacing one and leaving the other is how a machine comes back a month later.
