## Fisher & Paykel repair in Miami, including the dishwasher that is a drawer.

Forty of the fifty-one dishwashing machines Fisher & Paykel builds are DishDrawers — sealed from above by a lid motor, two complete wash systems on a double, and nothing else in a Miami kitchen works that way. Add integrated columns behind your own cabinet fronts, ovens that cook with steam, and induction set into stone, and you have equipment where the part is usually ordinary and the access is the appointment. Independent company, diagnosis on site, scope and price in writing before anything is opened.

234 — conditions decoded on this site

59 — cities and neighborhoods

312 — models with a page of their own

OEM — parts available on order

## 9 appliance types, and most of them are built into something.

Refrigeration columns, freezers, wine cabinets and beverage centers, DishDrawer and drop-door dishwashers, wall ovens and combi-steam, ranges, induction and gas cooktops — and the washer and dryer this maker no longer sells here but South Florida laundry rooms are still full of. Start with whichever one is misbehaving.

## The climate is part of the diagnosis, not a figure of speech.

Salt air

Sealed islands

Humidity

Hard water

## A1 is an overheated oven. A1 is also a drawer that did not fill.

On this maker a code belongs to the appliance rather than to the badge — each machine carries its own table, and the same letter and number mean different things on different ones. Reading a code without knowing the machine is reading somebody else's problem, which is why every code page on this site names the appliance in its title.

<strong>234 conditions, read from the manufacturer's own user guides and support articles.</strong> Twenty-five of them carry a meaning the maker actually prints; the rest are published as families, and those pages say so in their first paragraph instead of filling the space with a checklist. That is the honest shape of this maker's documentation, and it is worth knowing before you trust a longer list somewhere else.

## Four steps, and you approve the third one

You tell us the model and what it is doing

We come with the parts that problem usually needs

Diagnosis on site, then the scope and the price in writing

The work, and a warranty on it

## A figure against every job, and no final number over the phone

On built-in equipment the same symptom has causes hundreds of dollars apart, and a large share of the difference is not the part — it is whether the machine has to come out of its cabinetry to reach it. Every figure here is a starting point for this equipment in South Florida.

Exact cost is confirmed after an on-site diagnostic, and the scope and the figure are in writing before anything is opened.

Diagnostic visit — Credited toward the repair when you go ahead. If you do not, you pay this and nothing else.

DishDrawer lid & seal repair — The repair that exists only on this maker. No other dishwasher has a lid motor, and no aggregator has a price for one.

Refrigerator cooling & defrost repair — A warm fresh-food side with a cold freezer is airflow far more often than refrigerant. On an integrated column, the access is most of the visit.

Dishwasher drain & filter repair — A good share of these end at the filter or the sink connection — outside the machine entirely.

Oven heating & sensor repair — The sensor drifts before it fails, and after a self-clean cycle a thermal cut-out is often the whole story.

Steam oven repair — A boiler, a pump, a level sensor and a drain. Thirty-eight of this maker's ovens have all four, and scale is the local enemy.

## Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, end to end

Fifty-nine cities and neighborhoods, each with a page saying what we actually see there. Tell us where you are when you book — an integrated drawer in a tower is a different hour from the same drawer in Davie.

Coverage is the whole of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach — the pages below are the places people search for by name, not the edge of where we drive.

## Tell us the model and what it is doing.

You will have the scope and the price in writing before anything is opened.

## The questions we are asked first

Are you a Fisher & Paykel service center? — No, and we will not say we are. We are an independent repair company, not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by any manufacturer, and we do not carry out repairs on any manufacturer's behalf. What we do carry is our own warranty on the work we performed and the parts we fitted, and OEM parts are available on order.

Why is repairing a built-in machine more expensive than a freestanding one? — Usually it is not the part — it is the access. An integrated column is fitted into cabinetry cut for it, often fixed to the surround, with the water line and the electrical connection behind. Reaching a fan that costs eighty dollars can be most of the appointment. It is the single most useful thing to understand about this equipment, and it is why we give a starting figure rather than a price on the phone.

My DishDrawer is beeping and flashing but there is no number. — There will not be one — these machines have no display and report by pattern instead. If the wash modifier and lock indicators are flashing together it is an F condition; if only the modifiers flash it is an A. Photograph the panel before you switch it off, because that pattern is the diagnosis and it disappears when the power is cycled.

Is my appliance still under the maker's warranty? — It is worth checking before you book anybody, including us. This maker states its warranty terms in a separate Service & Warranty booklet rather than in the user guide, so the manual in your drawer will not tell you — the booklet, your purchase paperwork or your product registration will. If you are still covered, use that channel. We are independent and we are not it.

Do you repair Fisher & Paykel washers and dryers? — Yes. This maker no longer lists laundry for the United States — its own support base publishes the category with no machines in it — while it continues to sell laundry spare parts and stacking kits. The machines are here and the common parts are available. What we do not publish is a model list or a code table for them, because there is no first-party source for one.

My steam oven has never been descaled. Does that matter? — It matters more than almost anything else you can do for one. A steam oven boils water repeatedly and everything the water carried stays behind, coating the boiler and the level sensor — which then reports an empty boiler that is actually full, and behaves exactly like a failed pump. The machine has its own descale cycle. Running it at the interval the maker asks for prevents most of what we are called out for on these.
